With more than 20 years of experience in sustainability strategy, communications, and stakeholder engagement, Helen Fisher helps organisations develop credible sustainability narratives and translate complex issues into practical action. She specialises in sustainability reporting, strategy development, research, stakeholder engagement, and communications that support organisations in creating measurable impact.
Helen is Managing Director (Europe) at Context Europe, where she advises businesses, investors, public institutions, and non-profit organisations on sustainability strategy, reporting, and communications. Prior to joining Context, she spent more than 15 years as an independent sustainability consultant, supporting organisations with strategic advice, research, facilitation, evaluation, and stakeholder engagement processes.
Throughout her career, Helen has worked with a wide range of organisations including the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), FAIRR Initiative, IKEA, H&M Group, Unilever, BT, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, GSK, Medtronic, Ralph Lauren Corporation, Carlsberg, the Natural History Museum, Defra, the Environment Agency, and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council. Her work has focused on helping organisations navigate sustainability challenges, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and communicate their sustainability performance with clarity and credibility.
Helen holds a First-Class Bachelor of Arts degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. She is recognised for combining strategic insight, analytical rigour, and award-winning communication skills to help organisations think, act, and communicate more effectively on sustainability and responsible business issues.
