About

Kateryna Davydova

Kateryna Davydova brings ten years of sustainability experience across multinational companies. As Founder of Sustainability Scorex (SCX), she specialises in ESG assessment and heightened due diligence that integrate Safety & Resilience in conflict-affected and high-risk areas (CAHRAs).

Kateryna’s specialisation has grown out of hands-on experience working in an active armed conflict since 2014. Drawing on this practical background, she helps investors and businesses identify and mitigate the risks, assess operational continuity and recovery capacity, and make informed investment decisions in conflict-affected markets by integrating Safety & Resilience into sustainability due diligence and non-financial reporting.
‍
At L’Oréal and DTEK B.V., one of Europe’s largest private energy groups, she implemented sustainability strategies, ESRS reporting, double materiality assessment (DMA) and human rights due diligence (HRDD). She also led sustainability projects for 20 brands and the team behind reconstruction projects.

Her portfolio also spans waste management, solar energy, gender equality, humanitarian assistance and veteran support programmes, as well as cooperation with Inditex, Octopus Energy (UK),  GIZ, Mercy Corps, Électriciens sans frontières and the German Marshall Fund, and brands such as L’Oréal Paris, Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent, La Roche-Posay, Garnier and Pull&Bear.

She holds a master’s degree in International Economics; and has completed the Business Sustainability Management certificate programme at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL).
