Sujay Sarkar is an energy and sustainability professional with 14+ years of experience spanning the oil & gas sector, energy transition, and ESG consulting. He helps organizations design and implement climate-aligned growth strategies by integrating carbon accounting, disclosure, risk management, and innovation. His expertise spans carbon accounting, target setting & scoring, disclosure & reporting, climate risk & analytics, and governance & strategy. He has delivered ESG audits, ESG roadmaps, and climate risk analytics across global industries, helping companies strengthen compliance, boost ratings, and build investor confidence.
With a strong background in energy systems and policy, he has shaped national clean energy strategies on hydrogen, natural gas/LNG, and biofuels, and has represented India’s hydrocarbon sector at international platforms such as ADIPEC (Abu Dhabi), and the Tanzania Energy Congress (Dar-es-Salaam).
