Seawolf Sustainability Consulting has built its position by focusing on a gap many organisations still face: connecting sustainability with real financial risks and opportunities.

Seawolf Sustainability Consulting

Operating from the Netherlands and working internationally, the firm supports financial institutions, corporate management teams, policymakers and nonprofits by providing training, analysis and tailored advice on a variety of ESG topics (Environmental, Social, Governance).

E.g. new disclosure regulations (CSRD/ISSB), innovative financial products (blended finance, nature-based solutions), etc.

Rather than positioning itself as a broad sustainability consultancy, Seawolf has chosen a more defined role.

Based on deep accounting experience, the firm analyzes gaps in existing approaches to sustainability
and co-creates impactful long-term solutions working with organisations.

"We see ourselves as translators between climate and finance, helping organisations turn complexity into clear, evidence-based decisions,”

Rebecca brings two decades of experience from the financial sector, including senior roles across investor relations, risk, and finance, and serving as the first Chief Financial Officer of Sustainable Finance at HSBC Holdings plc. That background continues to shape the firm’s approach, ensuring that sustainability advice is grounded in financial reality.

Alongside her, co-founder Joel Aymon adds operational and financial expertise developed through senior roles at Credit Suisse and within the clean energy sector. Together, they have built a firm that prioritises implementation over theory, working closely with clients to ensure strategies can be executed within real organisational constraints.

The name Seawolf reflects this mindset. Rooted in Norse origins, it conveys purpose and collaboration. These qualities are visible in the firm’s work, which focuses on solving practical problems, building strong client relationships, and contributing to systems that support long-term success.

As the firm has developed, collaboration has become an important part of its model. Seawolf operates independently but recognises the need to connect with complementary expertise across markets and disciplines. This is where its involvement in the Global Advisory Alliance plays a role.

“through the global advisory alliance, we gain access to trusted expertise across disciplines and geographies, allowing us
to stay focused while delivering broader solutions when clients need them.”

Seawolf’s ambitions remain focused. The firm is not driven by scale but by relevance. Its priority is to work with willing organisations, where it can both meet compliance obligations and add value, by staying close to financial decision-making, and continuing to bridge the gap between climate and finance.
