About
Dr. Alexander Juschus
With more than 25 years of experience in corporate governance, investor stewardship and responsible investment Alexander combines strategic advisory experience with deep expertise in proxy voting, shareholder engagement and stewardship implementation.
He previously led Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) in the German-speaking markets and founded IVOX, Germany’s first proxy advisory firm, in 2006. Following its acquisition by Glass Lewis, he served as Managing Director of IVOX Glass Lewis until 2018 before founding Governance & Values.
He holds a PhD from the University of Durham and has been a lecturer on investor stewardship at the University of Angers since 2019. He has also held several leadership and advisory roles within the international stewardship community, including the ICGN Shareholder Rights Committee and the DVFA Governance and Stewardship Commission.
